Details: This is an informal non-process group specific to men and individuals that identify as male. This group will allow for an open dialog to discuss issues related to sexual assault that are relevant to male survivors and secondary survivors. Why join a support group? Support groups can be a valuable part of the healing process by providing a safe and confidential place for members to share thoughts and feelings with others who have had similar experiences.

Title: All Gender Mindfulness Group for Survivors of Sexual Trauma
When: Day/Time: The second and fourth Mondays of each month from 6:30pm -7:20pm. There is no end date and you are welcome to come to as many or as few sessions as is helpful to you. First time attendees: Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete a brief questionnaire.

Details: The focus of this group is to address the mindfulness and self-awareness. This is NOT a process group but members will be guided through mindfulness exercises and encouraged to use the time to practice a tool of self-awareness and self-soothing.

Details: This is a closed discussion and process group cofacilitated by Trauma Therapists at DC Rape Crisis Center. Group members will explore the impact the abuse has had on their concepts of identity, relationships and other areas of their life. Members will learn new ways of dealing with their emotions and strategies for moving forward. The information shared during the group is confidential.
